UTC Aerospace Systems

UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world’s largest suppliers of aerospace and defence products. Their products are on board almost everything that flies. Wanting to distinguish their brand from competitors and build upon their marketing tagline, ‘Where ingenuity takes off’ they needed a brand experience workshop to bring this to life.

Based on strategic insights gained from market research, our solution was to differentiate the brand through a design device – the ‘take off vector’.

We created brand guidelines which were used to standardise the look across websites, print, advertising, tradeshows and digital channels.

Initially developed in 2015, the updated brand identity is now in use globally across UTC Aerospace Systems’ corporate communications. It’s been so well received that we’re already hard at work on a new strategic messaging task.
