There was only one thing Disney wanted to say at this year’s MIPCOM… Happy 90th Anniversary Mickey Mouse!
Disney wanted an environment that celebrated its iconic character at the leading media flagship show in Cannes.
The creative team had a blast creating a space that would honor the legendary Mickey Mouse. Celebrating all his iconic looks from 1928’s Steamboat Willie to Mickey today, we were able to create a ‘Clubhouse’ befitting the 90th anniversary celebrations.
The anniversary allowed us to construct an immersive environment featuring macro and micro touchpoints from Mickey’s footprints leading into the space, mini Mickey topiary table pots and purposely photographed Mickey & Friends images in the tunnel to the ‘Café 1928’ in the hospitality area. Not forgetting a photo opportunity with Mickey himself and the #Mickey90 hashtag for people to share on their social networks.
With 1,029 guests greeted via our EventHive tool during the 4 day event, the event saw multiple business deals with key global broadcasters and earnt overwhelmingly positive PR coverage.
