As a world leader in 3G, 4G and next-generation wireless technologies, Qualcomm was looking to engage their customers and prospects on a deeper level, away from the many distractions and interactions that CES – Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas - has to offer. They challenged us to present the advancements of their technology and the engineering behind them through an interactive journey in the large meeting space of the SpringHill Suites hotel.
Rising to the challenge, we took inspiration from the new Qualcomm visual identity and designed the ‘Connected World’ tour around a contemporary Soho loft apartment, plus outdoor space and office. This look included exposed brickwork effect walls, neutral colours and bespoke pieces of high-end furniture. It subtly introduced the brand through pops of colour and the use of company infographics within photo frames. Wearables, drones and connected technologies featured throughout which led the visitor to the second part of the experience, a ‘Smart Uncovered’ tour of technical demonstrations with Qualcomm engineers.
The result was a highly successful CES activation, attracting a great deal of positive media attention and allow new brand positioning to be effectively presented to invited guests.
