As a market leader in multinational banking and financial services, BNP Paribas was looking for a consistent presence across three major annual industry events. After a competitive tender, 2Heads were asked to create an experience that reflected the brand’s key values of expertise, openness and responsibility, while also mirroring local cultures and audience. With 200 guests expected, the environment needed to be welcoming, interactive and flexible enough to support a range of planned activities.
We defined a memorable visual language that reflected BNP Paribas’ business values: Reflection, Collaboration and Inclusion. These were encompassed within two key stylistic and practical principles: Graceful and Responsible. A key element of the visual design were the hundreds of origami birds that adorned the environment, tying in with the bank’s logo, while also providing a reflection of local culture. This striking feature created real impact among visitors. Several points of interaction were incorporated into the experience, including a vibrant hospitality area and secluded meetings space. Flexibility was key in the design concept so that the stand could be used for the multiple events, an important sustainability goal for BNP Paribas.
A record number of sales leads were captured at SIBOS, making this the most successful exhibition outing to date. A new production template was created for BNP Paribas’ global exhibition programme, ensuring global brand consistency whilst allowing the local personality of the destination to shine through.
