Peppa Pig Like You’ve Never Seen
2Heads partnered with LEGOLAND® Billund to bring the very first Peppa Pig x LEGO® DUPLO® collaboration to life as an immersive, live puppet show experience. Designed specifically for young children and their families, the show combined storytelling, music, education and play translating the charm of Peppa Pig into a LEGO® DUPLO®-inspired world. From narrative development and scripting to technical programming and show operations, 2Heads helped LEGOLAND deliver a joyful, repeatable live experience tailored to its youngest guests.

The Brief
A First-of-Its-Kind
LEGOLAND® Billund asked 2Heads to help create and deliver a brand-new live show experience to support the launch of the Peppa Pig x LEGO® DUPLO® sets. The ambition was to design something purpose-built for young audiences engaging, educational and age-appropriate while fitting seamlessly into the new Peppa Pig x LEGO® DUPLO® land within the park.
LEGOLAND® Billund asked 2Heads to help create and deliver a brand-new live show experience to support the launch of the Peppa Pig x LEGO® DUPLO® sets. The ambition was to design something purpose-built for young audiences engaging, educational and age-appropriate while fitting seamlessly into the new Peppa Pig x LEGO® DUPLO® land within the park.
A key requirement was that the experience be delivered as a puppeteer-led show, something new for the Billund park, but perfectly suited to younger children. The show would debut exclusively at LEGOLAND Billund before being adapted for other parks.

The Strategy
Designed for How Young Children Play
The core insight was simple, younger guests engage best with familiar characters, short-form storytelling and interactive moments they can physically follow along with.
With the Peppa Pig x LEGO® DUPLO® sets launching at the same time, the show became a natural extension of the product story bringing the sets to life through narrative, colour, music and play. By aligning the animatic content, characters and environments with the DUPLO® sets themselves, the experience reinforced brand recognition while remaining first and foremost a fun moment for kids.

The show was located within a newly built children’s land designed for this exact age group, complete with a play park and family-friendly infrastructure ensuring the experience felt intuitive and accessible for parents and children alike.

Results
Education, Emotion and Global Rollout
Emotionally, the show delivered something new for LEGOLAND’s youngest visitors. Puppet shows are rare in theme parks, and placing the characters at children’s eye level created a sense of intimacy and connection.

Educational elements such as colour recognition and follow-along movement were seamlessly embedded into the narrative, allowing children to learn while they played. Feedback from families was overwhelmingly positive, with parents praising the pacing, clarity and gentle educational value.
Following its success in Billund, the show was adapted and rolled out to the New York LEGOLAND park, where new scenes including a picnic and supermarket were introduced.
